ABOUT THE RELEASE

FLeUR is an experimental music project based in Turin, Italy, formed by Francesco Lurgo (already active on european stages with Tacuma Electronic Orchestra, Daniele Brusaschetto and others) and Enrico Dutto.

In their performances two souls are merged together. Laptops coexist on stage with piano and guitar, and software programming crashes against improvisation and human nature, creating a soundscape that joins the abstract digital world of IDM with post-rock suggestions and dark rituality.

After several live experiences in italian and european clubs and experiences of soundtracking and sound design for theatrical performances, readings and videos, their debut E.P. « Supernova, Urgent Star » came out in early 2014, featuring Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo (Larsen) on electric viola.

On the turning point between 2016 and 2017, it’s time for FLeUR’s first full-length “The Space Between” to come out. It will be published by Daniele Brusaschetto’s Bosco Rec label and features Brusaschetto himself and Costanza Bellugi as guest vocalists.
