ABOUT THE RELEASE
Gina Été writes pop music for a future where cars still don’t fly.
After recording in San Francisco, she now releases the first of four singles: Mauern – “walls” is criticism and self-criticism, homage to California and the outstanding US-Governement, a shattering outcry, meant to shake all the walls still standing.
Shortly after the release she returns with her band to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France.
Not only does she play viola, piano and sing in four languages, she dares to address current political matters on stage in a way that pop music left behind at some point in the eighties.
Elaborate yet catchy, and beautifully poetic, Gina Été is what comes after today’s pop music has disappeared from our radio stations.
